  1. The California Privacy Protection Act tells you what you can do to keep your information safe. (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first law in the country that requires business websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law covers a lot more than just California. It requires any person or company in the U.S. (and maybe even the world) who runs a website that collects personally identifiable information from Californians to put a clear privacy policy on their website that says what information is being collected and who it is being shared with, and to follow this policy.

We agree with the following things that CalOPPA says:

0.1. people can visit our site without being seen;

0.2. Our Privacy Policy link has the word “Privacy” in it and is easy to find on our website’s home page;

0.3. Users will find out about any changes to our privacy policy on our Privacy Policy Page;

0.4. Users can change their personal data by sending us an email at info@specificdigitalmarketing.com.

Our policy on signals that say “Do Not Track”:

When your browser has a “Do Not Track” button, we don’t track you, put cookies on your computer, or show you ads. You can tell websites that you don’t want to be watched by setting a preference in your web browser called “Do Not Track.”

You can turn Do Not Track on or off by going to your computer browser’s Preferences or Settings page.

  1. The California Consumer Privacy Act says what you can do to protect your information. (CCPA)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what information we have about you, to ask us to delete it, and to ask us not to sell or share it. You can use your rights to data protection by making certain requests and asking us:

0.1. What information we have about you that is personal. If you ask for this, we’ll get back to you:

0.0.1. What kinds of personal information we have about you and how we got them.

0.0.2. The different kinds of places where we get your personal information.

0.0.3. The business or financial reason why your personal information is being collected or sold.

0.0.4. Who we share personal information with and what kind of information they get.

0.0.5. The exact pieces of personal information we have about you.

0.0.6. A list of the different types of personal information we’ve sold, along with the type of company we’ve sold it to. We will let you know if we haven’t sold your personal information.

0.0.7. A list of the types of personal information we’ve given to other companies for business purposes, along with the type of company we’ve given it to.

Please keep in mind that you can ask us for this information up to twice in a moving 12-month period. When you make this kind of request, we may only give you the personal information we’ve gathered about you in the last 12 months.

0.2. To get rid of your personal info. If you make this request, we’ll get rid of any personal information we have about you as of the date you make the request, and we’ll tell any service providers that we work with to do the same. In some cases, information can be deleted by making it impossible to tell who it belongs to. If you delete your personal information, you might not be able to use some features that need your personal information to work.

0.3. To stop selling information about you. We will never give or sell your personal information to a third party. We don’t sell your personal information in exchange for money. Under California law, however, giving personal information to a third party or another company in our family without getting anything in return may be called a “sale” in some situations. You are the only person who owns your Personal Data, and you can always ask for it to be shared or deleted.

If you tell us you don’t want us to share your personal information, we will stop doing so.

Please keep in mind that if you ask us to delete or stop selling your data, it may change how you interact with us, and you may not be able to use certain programmes or membership services that need your personal information to work. But we will never treat you badly because you are practising your rights.

If you live in California and want to use any of the above data security rights, please send your request(s) to info@specificdigitalmarketing.com.

The CCPA, which stands for the California Consumer Privacy Act, protects your rights to privacy as stated above. Visit the official California Legislative Information site to find out more. The CCPA became law on January 1, 2020.

These payment companies follow the rules set by PCI-DSS, which is run by the PCI Security Standards Council. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover all work together on this project. The PCI-DSS standards help make sure that payment information is handled safely.

  1. Connections to other sites

Some of the links on our Service go to sites that we don’t run. If you click on a link to a third-party site, you will be taken to that site. Every site you visit should have a Privacy Policy that you should read.

We have no say over the content, privacy rules, or practises of any third-party sites or services, and we don’t take any responsibility for them.

For example, the stated privacy policy was made with PolicyMaker.io, a free tool that helps make high-quality legal documents. The privacy policy generator on PolicyMaker is a simple way to make a privacy policy for a blog, website, e-commerce shop, or mobile app.
